Hi I am still waiting for my biopsy results and it’s been over two weeks I am assuming this means it is bad news as I would have heard if it was good news by now. The anxiety of waiting is so bad.

I am sorry to hear you are awaiting biopsy results and appreciate what an anxious time this can be for people.

Unfortunately it can take time for results to come back and the length of time you wait has no bearing on what the outcome may be.

Hang in there as best you can for now and try not to let your thoughts run away with themselves until you have all the information.

I hope you know more soon and that everything works out okay for you.

Hi thank you for your replies. I received my letter which states that everything looked fine but due to atrophy the biopsy couldn’t be analysed but happy for me to be referred back to my GP. This was yesterday. This evening I have had some spotting. Do I just see if it happens again and then go to GP if it does x

It is good news that everything looks fine after your tests, and I imagine this is a relief for you.

It might be helpful just to have a chat with your GP, who can go through your results with you and can let you know what to do if there is further spotting.
