I'm sorry you have been diagnosed with a gastrointestinal stromal tumour ( GIST).
It's always good to be well prepared for your appointment with the consultant and writing down questions is a useful thing to do.

What treatment are you recommending, and why?
What are the likely side effects of treatment?
How will I know if it's working?
What other options are available if the treatment doesn't work?
How often will I need scans and follow up appointments?
