About Catherine-D

Hello,

I was diagnosed with a GIST in April 2025 and I have my first meeting with the Sarcoma team tomorrow. My GIST was evident on an endoscopy which was performed in June 2024 but it went unreported and has only been made clear when my imaging was reexamined after many hospital admissions and surgery for the wrong reason.
So I’m almost a year behind when my treatment should have started and I don’t know if surgery is possible now. Still in the angry stage
