Hi in 2023 I was asked to have a blood test for mpn I due to being very poorly I didn’t have it done now 2025 I’m terrified I’ve left it to late an I’m going to die an not see my daughter grown up she’s only 3 an I get pains in neck shoulders arms legs heart rate is always high so on propranolol blood pressure high I’m scared Hb 159 neut 10.2 wbc 13.2 plats 364 hg 0.48

    I am sorry to hear about your situation. It is difficult to say much without being involved in your care but do share your concerns with your GP. I am not sure who suggested you have a test for MPN (Myeloproliferative neoplasms) but you could probably have it now if that is what your doctor feels that you should do.

    Let them know about the symptoms that you are experiencing.

    If the GP suspects that you have MPN they may well refer you to a haematologist.
