Hello and thank you for posting.
I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis of lymphoma.
I'm unsure which type you have, but I have added some links from our pages to hopefully help you understand things better.
High grade means that the cells can be faster growing, and more aggressive, which is why your doctors will be getting on with your treatments.
The stage 1a of high-grade Non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL) is discussed here if helpful.
There is support out there for you, through Blood Cancer UK and Lymphoma Action if useful, and your own hospital may have a Macmillan centre or Maggie's centre for additional support when you are there.
You may also have a specialist nurse (CNS) who will know things more specific to your own situation.
If you want to talk things through with the nurses on our helpline the number is 0808 800 4040. Lines are open mon-fri 9-5.
Take care,
Sarah.
