Hello because of my mum's family history, I've always worried about breast cancer. I was at the breast clinic 4/5 months ago for a cyst which was removed. I had a diagnostic mammogram and he did ultrasound both breasts for because I was so anxious. I was told I had a small fibroadenoma in my left breast 2 years ago. I went through the biopsy route. I'm just wondering would this fibroadenoma lump be picked up on the mammogram or ultrasound. I was not something I mentioned at my appointment as I went in with a different lump however they would have all my records. Appreciate any reassurance and advice . I did have another fibroadenoma 13 years ago and that was biopsied at the time but never mentioned again and to be honest I don't think I can feel that one now.
