Hi I'm really worried about my mum .
She is 61 and had breast cancer 10 years ago. She recently thought she had long covid combined with her osteoporosis. She had been feeling nauseous for a while combined with pelvic pain, she decided to go to the doctors who got bloods done. It came back saying her CA125 is 59. She has a scan booked for next Friday. However it seems like the longest week ever, online it says it could be ovarian cancer, lymphoma or peritonitis. The other things that have come up don't seem relevant for her age.
What else could it be? If if is either of those cancers is it true it's only about a 35% survival rate after 5 years? Is it true that with peritonitis, it can really damage organs? Would 2 to 3 months caused much damage if it was?
Thank you so so much for your time.
So grateful for everything
