I am obese as am 5ft 3inches and weigh about 16 stone which I have been over weight for a goid few years and do drink wine and I'm convinced myself they are going to tell me I'm going g to die. I haven't really had Amy reassurance from doctors that thus could be anything else I just keep focusing on tge bit that says malignancy can't be excluded and everything I google gives me bad news. Would it be ok for me to have a few glasses of wine to just try and relax for one night as sooooo scared I'm only 41.

  • Hello there and thanks for getting in touch

I appreciate this is an anxious time for you but try and take things one step at a time for now.

The doctors need further information from the scan before they can tell you any more, so hang in there.

There are other things that can cause gallbladder issues that aren't as serious as cancer and i'm afraid no matter how much you search on Google it cannot diagnose you.

Sit tight and try and keep yourself busy and your mind on other things. It is important to try and look after yourself as best you can by eating well, getting some exercise and fresh air, and good sleep. A glass of wine may seem the solution but if you can find other ways to try and relax and calm yourself that is much more likely to help you at this time.

I hope you have some more answers very soon and that everything works out okay for you.

    Take care

    Naomi
