I am sorry to hear that your husband is having treatment for prostate cancer.

I think that it is very natural to worry about new symptoms when they pop up. However, not all will be related to the cancer or the treatment. It is possible that the head pain your husband has is radiating (coming) from somewhere else in the body for example the sinuses. It does not necessarily have anything to do with his brain. The best thing he should do is to let his cancer team know so that they can find out what is causing it.

If he has the number of the cancer nurse involved in his care, he could call and leave a message, and someone will get back to him.

Thsnk you Caroline. We contacted 111 yesterday as a rash- sore appeared near his eye brow area, pain worse at temple and head, been diagnosed with shingles.   Said more susceptible to it after radiotherapy, so been given tablets for 1 week. 

His eye has puffed up and red, very painful and feels sick too now.

He went to the Dr yesterday, is going to optician this morning as drs suggested this first
