crateriform papillomatous sqamoproliferative lesion. benign squamous papilloma.

I have just received the above diagnosis after undergoing a removal of and reconstructive skin graft for a suspected BCC. I understand that no malignancy was found but wonder if you could explain what the other words mean. I am seeing my Consultant on the 19th but would like some information before then if at all possible. Thank you.

  • Hello and thanks for your post

As nurses we do not interpret medical reports. This needs to come from your specialist team. as they are familiar with all your medical details. Alternatively, you may have contact with a dermatology nurse who may be easier to get hold off. You can leave a message with one of them if you can't get through and they should be able to call you back.

I hope you know more soon. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Kind regards,

    Celene
