Go back and ask for further test such as a transvaginal scan where they can look at your uterus etc. This type of bleeding is not normal. But could be caused by a number of things. Polyps, fibroids etc. but needs investigating. Make it clear if you are worried and how it is affecting you. Wishing you all the best.

Yes it is an internal scan where they look at your womb, I had one in the past due to heavy bleeding where they thought I had fibroids and then another a couple of years later due to further heavy bleeding and spotting to check to see if the coil I was given to manage symptoms was was in the correct place. (Following a diagnosis of adynomyosis)

You know your body and when something is wrong - as I have learnt more and more you have to advocate for yourself. No harm in going back and seeing another doctor, explaining your additional symptoms and asking to be referred.
