I was diagnosed with breast cancer the end of 2022. Surgery followed Radiotherapy and a 5 year preventative treatment. Now cancer free. Just need a bit of advice in the last couple of months my right breast sometimes feels sore to touch as though there is an infection in place. I am also experiencing throbbing pain like shockwaves through the breast when I lie down Not sure if this should be happening and could it mean the cancer as returned?. Also I was told by my cancer nurse that I would have a Dexa scan yearly to check my bones however I have been told by my doctors surgery that this is 2 yearly, is this correct?
