Hi I’ve just had a positive qFIT result of 129 which has really worried me. I’m now being referred on the two week pathway. I have been taking double my dose of omeprazole for a while. Could this affect my qFIT result at all?
Yes i had a colonoscopy they found a 5cm tumour i then had a CT scan they said it hadn’t spread, i then had an operation a week later it was six and a half hours it was done by key hole my surgeons were brilliant, i had the operation on the 11th of march and i have been home for a week now , never had any pain with the operation at all still haven’t , i have a reversible bag fitted, the whole process from see the GP to having the operation was a just over two months, I certainly cannot knock the NHS , so if it is the worst you will be fine
