FiT test

I am to do FIT test but how many hours will it keep for and do I put it in the fridge,? As I had to get it to surgery before midday between Monday and Friday  and I am finding it hard to go between 9am and midday with IBS and runs.

Any help greatly received. I've had Test since last Monday to do but go to loo afternoon and evenings and during night.

    I am sorry to hear you are needing to carry out a FIT test.

    It is fine for the sample to be left at room temperature and because these can be posted the sample is usually fine outside of a fridge for a week. Therefore it is fine for you to carry out the sampling the next time you go to the toilet and then take it to the surgery ( if it is the following morning that is fine).
