I think we may have spoken on the phone earlier, but if not do clean the area when you can and allow it to dry naturally. Any dressings would need to be non-stick, so do discuss them with your pharmacist or hospital team.

The wound will heal in time, but if you feel the area gets red, warm to touch, smells strong or the fluid changes colour, then do contact your GP or the hospital team.
