I am sorry to hear about the pain that you have been experiencing. It must be unsettling for you that your pain is continuing.

It is good to hear that all your scans were clear after your recent chemotherapy. It is however difficult to give an opinion as to why you are continuing to get this abdominal pain and it is important if it does continue that you make the doctors aware.

You have posted in 'ask the nurses' but if you post on another thread or you start your own then you make get more responses. It is worth baring in mind that everyone's situation is different and it can be difficult to compare one person with another.

If you are in touch with your specialist nurse then do talk to them or your team about effective pain relief. You could also try and keep a pain diary to monitor when you are getting the pain for example before and after eating.

It is important to try and build up your fitness taking short walks to start off with and then building this up as you go on. Often exercise can help ease any discomfort you are getting and can help with an effective bowel motion.

I am not sure if he pain is worse before or after eating and you may find  adjusting your diet has an effect.

If the pain is continuing then it is important to let your team know so this can be investigated and anything serious is ruled out such as a blocked bowel. 

I do hope that as time goes on this will settle down.
