Tingling in breast

Hi,

I’ve just got a on/off tingling in my right breast, it only started yesterday but obviously I’d like some reassuring. I’m on the Depo injection, not sure if that makes a difference. No changes to my breast otherwise but would love some reassurance.

I would make a appointment with gp just to get this checked we should check any changes with breasts to be on safe side good luck x love Lara

Hi Holz91,

Thanks for posting. Tingling in the breast is more likely to be caused by hormone changes, such as having your period, rather than something serious like breast cancer. However, as Laraj has posted it is always best to be safe and get any changes in your breast checked out by your GP.

Thank you both very much for your replies. I’ve recently had viral meningitis and the tingling is on the same side as the neck pain was - I wasn’t sure if there could be nerve issues due to that.
