Tingling in breast

Hi,

I’ve just got a on/off tingling in my right breast, it only started yesterday but obviously I’d like some reassuring. I’m on the Depo injection, not sure if that makes a difference. No changes to my breast otherwise but would love some reassurance.

thanks,

  • Hi Holz91,

Thanks for posting. Tingling in the breast is more likely to be caused by hormone changes, such as having your period, rather than something serious like breast cancer. However, as Laraj has posted it is always best to be safe and get any changes in your breast checked out by your GP.

I hope this helps. Do get back to us if you need to. You may want to speak with one of our nurses on our helpline. The number to call is freephone 0808 800 4040 between 9am and 5pm

    Take care
