I am sorry to hear that you are having treatment for breast cancer.

While knowing the benefits and risks of any treatment is good, sometimes what we see (online) focuses too much on the risks rather than the benefits. So, while I can't tell you how hormone treatment will affect you, it is not necessarily going to be a difficult time for you. This is because treatment affects people differently, you would have to take the treatment to see how it affects you.

Hormone treatment is a recommended treatment for oestrogen-positive breast cancer as it has been shown in research and clinical trials to reduce the risk of cancer coming back. How much that is for you is best discussed with your breast cancer team, as they have all the information about your clinical situation.
