Black line in fingernail

I have had a black line on my finger nail foe

over a month but the black like has got darker, I do have a go appointment in two weeks but I’m starting to get worried

    Hi,

    It's good that you have a GP appointment arranged for it to be checked out. Hopefully it will be due to a fungal infection or trauma but don't panic if you are referred to a dermatologist as they are the experts. Good luck and please let us know how you get on.
