I had a lumpectomy in my breast a few weeks ago, and after feeling initially fine, I have started to feel unwell. I had shooting pain in the surrounding area of the lumpectomy, but wasn't unduly concerned.  I told the surgeon post op, and she assured me that it was normal. Reassured, I have gradually continued to get back on course to my normal routine. For the last couple of days I have felt very feverish with a terrible headache. I ache all over, and have been feeling so unwell that I called my GP. My GP said that it could be the flu, but I have a feeling that it is something more. Should I be concerned?
