I am 57 years old and have recently been diagnosed with DCIS after having no previous symptoms. A relatively large mass was found and removed and I was diagnosed with the above condition in early May. I was a little shocked at the time because I had had no symptoms. The surgeon told me that it had been removed and I was left feeling unable to ask any questions about the future. I have been left feeling emotional ever since.
