Hello, thanks for asking how I am *** . I doing well. I had a complete hysterectomy Thursday 19th and was back home Friday evening . Had it done via keyhole and it went very well . It goes off for biopsy now , possible radiotherapy but praying that is not needed . If it is needed I believe it is internal . 

I'm doing so well I was petrified of surgery , but I had my surgery done at a top hospital . I was treated like a queen they are amazing , they work so hard bless them . We are very lucky to have such dedicated humans beings who choose this profession . 

I used to be very critical of some parts of the NHS but that was about unecessary medications , but when it comes to something like this , they are angels . 

So I am home being pampered by my husband and he is a wonderful nurse . I saw my two grandsons yesterday youngest is 3 mnths , he was lying on a pillow next to me chatting in his baby chat and laughing and making nanna happy and bursting with love and pride . 

I was wondering about your situation , do you get spotting and are you postmenopause ? , surly they need to rescan to monitor the situation ?

One thing for sure you can know that they are not worried about you , in a kind way of course , because they seem happy not to rescan . But it's good they said if you have anymore problems to get intouch with your GP . 

Keep us informed , we are all in this together and it helps to share and support each other .

That is such good news that they have sorted you out quickly, I'm sure you must feel very positive now. You have got your lovely family around you too, which is uplifting.

I am postmenopause but don't get spotting or bleeding fortunately. It was due to an infection that I went to the GP's. They think this is due to thinning vaginal skin due to lowering oestrogen levels! The GP sent me for a scan and that is when they said my lining was 5.7mm. 

I will definitely keep an eye on things but am reluctant to use pessaries as these can thicken the lining. I might have to rethink this. Oh the joys of being a woman!!

Hi Yes feeling very relieved and very fortuante it got caught at the early stage . The onoclogist said out of the four womb cancers to get it is stage 1 , although we don't want any lol. But no the surgery is done I await the histology report and go from there , but I feel very good .

I hope yours settles down and you don't need any treatment . Thank you for your support and encouragment , yeah to be a woman lol

Did they keep you updated on it? Its been exactly 2 weeks today for me, they said someone would call wednesdsy to update me as i called yesterday and they said they are not back yet but I wrote a post on yesterday & someone said not to worry because the were called the day after and was admitted to hospital the next day the said, quoted 'I certainly didnt have to wait 1-2 weeks, I was called the next day and admitted to hospital the next week' I was soooo relived, maybe not so much now! thanks for replying x
