Hi I had a endoscopy last Friday due to reflux and digestion problems.They said the endoscopy was ok so why did they take 6 biopsies? I don't understand.Anyone else had this? Thanks

Hi while they are there they nearly always take biopsy from different areas as a double check,,despite everything looking clear, it's just routine nothing to worry about.

Most endoscopy procedures will take biopsies as a matter of routine practice, so don't read too much into this.
They send off the samples for analysis. It can confirm visual findings, and sometimes confirm gastritis for example.
