I am 19 and had a colonoscopy done 6 weeks ago after experiencing rectal bleeding. They found a polyp that was 'red and mottled'. They took some biopsies but they didn't remove it. It's ben 6 weeks and I still haven't heard anything. I've tried to call my GP and the hospital but they haven't got my results. I'm just concerned because I'm still experiencing a bit of rectal bleeding and I've still got the polyp that they didn't remove. Does anyone know why the polyp wasn't removed and why it's taking so long for the biopsy results?
