Hi everyone, I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with stage 1b1, had mri last week to confirm, still awaiting results and haven't been assigned a gynaecologist/oncologist yet. My doctor told me to research my options for stage 1b as I won't get alot of time to decide after the mdt meeting.
I have been reading about trachelectomy and have been considering going that route if its still an option. However I have been reading on a lot of forums that they are not offered in Scotland, only in London. The posts are all from 5+ years ago though. So I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is still the case or if they're are other health boards offering them now? I'm in the north of Scotland so traveling to London for treatment/check ups just isn't an option for me. I don't want to get my hopes for something if it isn't even offered in my country. I asked my doctor about it but hes new to the country so isn't up to date with what is offered here.
Hoping someone here might know more as there's very little info online. TIA. X
