I have been monitored by my GP at 6 monthly intervals due to a slightly raised (but stable) CA125 level - this has been going on for about 18 months now.
It has recently come to light that I am more than likely going through menopause - I am turning 52 shortly.
I thought it would be as simple as getting a script for HRT from my GP but it seems that due to my raised (but stable) CA125 level, it is more complicated and that by taking HRT it could be a risk.
I am not sure what to do? Are there any alternatives? Any advice? I don't want to take anything that would risk me getting ovarian or any form of cancer.
