It is not uncommon to have skin patches/spots on your vulva, but we would always advise that anyone concerned about any new ones/or changes, gets them checked out by a doctor (GP), for their own peace of mind. Doctors are very used to being asked to look at various lumps and bumps in intimate areas, most days in their practice, and will do their best to make you feel at ease. You can ask to see a female doctor too.

Thank-you so much for your advice, I think I'm going to book an appointment just to be on the safe side. I just need to put my fears aside as I would hate to leave it and it be something that I regret.
