It can be worrying having a breast lump , but the majority of people with breast lumps attending a breast clinic do not have cancer. Most breast lumps though in England will be referred under the 2 week rule, and not surprisingly, this can cause so much worry. 

Take a step at a time - the waiting is horrid so try if you can to keep busy and take each day without looking ahead at the moment. You will be examined, have an ultrasound and sometimes a biopsy is also carried out. So there may well be more waiting for results.
