About zampogna

My name is Phil. My wife, Pat, was diagnosed with incurable lung cancer in March, 2015. Chemotherapy didn't work. A course of radiotherapy is due shortly, followed, possibly, by second line chemotherapy. As for me, I like music - all kinds; Classical , Jazz, Blues, Folk, Country, Rock 'n' Roll - but not the really modern stuff. I can't whistle or hum it. I like cinema and theatre, and television. I read a lot, particularly history, biography, and crime. I've always liked American crime novels, particularly the books of Erle Stanley Gardner and Raymond Chandler. I am currently working my way through the books of John Grisham. I like Mr. Grisham's work. It allows me to escape briefly from my current situation and into a world that is fast moving, exciting, and, as far as I'm concerned, totally safe.
