It's my mum who has cancer. A tumour on the brain, which came to light in the form of a massive seizure. After further scans they have found metastatic cancer in her lungs and lymph nodes and kidney. Due to her ill health and mental health problems combined they are not keen to operate on the brain. I feel like life has been so cruel to her and I already that this is a joke. I didn't know if she would come off life support effectively and she's managed that and is able to speak to me. I grieved those days when I thought I'd never speak with her again, now I have (a slightly different version of) her back, it seems like the whole thing isn't real.
