At age 35, my amazing wife was diagnosed with an extremely rare appendix cancer in March 2019 - Appendiceal mucinous adenocarcinoma. The first symptom was her appendix bursting and emergency surgery where they found her belly was full of mucin and there was a tumor on her appendix. She had her MOAS (mother of all surgeries) at the end of June. It's been an eventful recovery, her pancreas was accidently injured during surgery, she had 1.5l fluid on her lungs causing them to collapse and now she has a small bowel obstruction that we're struggling to resolve.
