About trish22

had a wedg ectomy in October last year it turned out not to be cancer but a haematoma (Fat.gristle and fibrous)think he said.which i was so relieved about.anyhow i have only just got my voice back in March as thyy had damaged the nerve to my lymph nodes by my voice box.but after some voice therapy exercises it has now returned.altho my surgeon said it can take up to six months to return.anyhow i have been having pain down my left side.also the edge of my scar on the left near my armpit and undrrneath my left breast.my rib most time feels sore to the touch and also if if pinch under my left breast it feels numb.but the pain feels like soreness.and if i wear a normal bra the wire underneath makes it very irratable only on the left side. They did mention that i could get pain down my side after for about 12 months after.i have been to my GP and she said it could be nerve pain or muscle pain and gave me Gabapentin 100mg x3 times a day but one makes me really dizzy and not very successful treating the pain.also when i cough.i have to hold underneath my left breast cos it feels like my ribs are going to pop out..its been just 7 months is this still too early days.Glad i have found this site.it had me worried a bit.i am a 62 year new person to this site.Just to say i had this same pain when i cam out of hospital.
