About Thebarbell

Just diagnosed with stomach cancer gone into lumps and peritoneum. ( not sure of spelling). No surgery available so had first chemo last week at the moment not feeling too bad overall and intend to carry on working and doing gym as much as possible. Very angry with body as at 70 years of age started a hi intensity gym 4 years ago and according to consultant this cancer has probably been growing for 3 to 4 years. I have had no pain in any way and reason I went was loss of weight one and a half stones in 3 months but still doing very heavy workouts. Why does this bloody disease cause so much anguish and yet can be hidden so much. Sorry rant over. I hope I can help anyone with any advice as my chemo progresses so please ask.
