My mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on May 2nd 2019, it had already spread to her bone, adrenal glands, lymph nodes and brain. She received intense radiotherapy on her lower spine to reduce the pain from the nerve damage. She got 2 rounds of chemo but sadly the cancer had spread to her liver during treatment so it was stopped. She fought it for as long as she could but she passed away on 27th August. I registered her death on my birthday 2 days later.
