I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer last year. I had a lumpectomy followed by chemotherapy. I did take letozole but had too many bad side effects so am now taking exemestane for the next five years. This is so much better except I do have painful joints but I can cope with that so far. I was taking Alendronic acid once a week but recently had problems with a crown so stopped until things have healed. I’ve had amazing support from all staff and friends and family but I still have my low days even though I am so grateful to be here and enjoying my life.
