Hi! My name is Shelley. I'm a young 50 year old gramma of 2 little boys :) I work full time as an analyst in our local PD homicide unit, and have my own Custom cake business which I hope to do from home in about 5 years full time. I love spending time with my grandkids and kids, love reading, baking, going on long trips on our Harley and beach holidays.
I'm currently experiencing abdominal pain and discomfort and have just started on diagnostic tests with my GP to see whats up. Concern to me is obviously a cancer of some kind. I keep thinking "that's silly - you're not flat out in bed, throwing up or bleeding from anywhere, it's just a stomach ache" but really, since when does a stomach ache last for over a month? Thoughts that skatter around like stupid mice are also, well, maybe your constipated, maybe you hurt your rib picking up one of the boys, maybe maybe maybe. Maybe my intuition is right and it is something more serious.
Only time will tell. In the meantime, I hope to be able to get out Christmas shopping for my family ( fatigue and stomach pain while walking has kept me from it so far), do some baking - yum!, and enjoy listening to some pentatonix christmas music.
