Hello there,
Have recently been finding a lot of support in following a thread in the Breast cancer section, thank you everyone for posting and responding so regularly. Seems a bit rude to sneak in and not declare my presence! Hence signing up.
For my part I was diagnosed with Tubular cancer, grade 1 on 1st April this year, having just turned 47 a few days before.....not such a nice pressie!
Luckily things are looking controllable as whilst it’s invasive it’s apparently a ‘lazy lump’- to quote my bc nurse! Though it has managed to grow to 3cm some how.
Like breast cancer seems for so many, it was right out of the blue and of course the whole situation seems very surreal as I’m going through the motions with the tests and appointments with my consultant. I have LICAP surgery coming up on 21st May (please God) and then radiotherapy and the hormone drugs all being well.
