My husband has had a gastrectomy at the end of August this year and is recovering well, his consultant surgeon said the stomach was removed but the cancer was smaller than they thought and early diagnosed, they removed 35 lymph nodes and every one was clear! The oncologist wants him to do 4 more rounds of FLOT which seems excessive as his lymph nodes showed no sign of cancer! In April this year I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and auxiliary lymph nodes and had a full mastectomy in September and start radiation treatment soon
