About Shaz48

HI,Just joined this group, my whole world has been turned upside down,my mum has just been diagnosed with stage 4 primary peritoneal cancer, given a maximum of 6 months without treatment ...she gas decided to try chemo but I have been told about so many side effects it worries me whether she will cope.We are going to the hidpital on Tuesday so they can drain the fluid in her stomach to help her to be able to breathe and eat more easily.I am going to be there for mum for all her treatments but I worry as im trying to be so strong for her and hopefully wont crack!!There is no cure for her cancer they are just going to try and manage it with chemo. Its nice to be part of this group I wish you all well .
