Former psychiatric nurse until I ended up having a huge episode of depression and needing to switch careers for the sake of my health. So I became a chef and was loving it until around September 2016 when I had to take some time off sick due to depression and swallowing problems.
The swallowing problems got worse rapidly to the point that I could only manage liquids and even that was a struggle at times. In March 2017 after lots of tests and biopsoes I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and am starting treatment soon. On top of that I'm having trouble with excruciating pain which is probably referred pain from the cancer and so reluctantly me and my 2 cats are living with my parents on a semi permanent basis.
When Im not battling the big c or sleeping I can usually be found fussing my cats and watching tele or a decent horror film, at aston villa games (pain levels permitting) or at the pub seeing mates.
