About rover3500

I was diagnosed with lung cancer over a year ago. I had 15 hours worth of groundbreaking surgery where I was for 5 weeks as everything that could go wrong from the surgery did, except dying. I had chemo after that, then PET scan end November last year which revealed cancer had come back in 5 different places in my body, the biggest tumor being in my adrenal gland which is about 5cm big now. I was told I have months to maybe a year to live. I am now having immunotherapy every 3 weeks. I was in a new relationship when I got the news which ended it, and now I think the worst thing is loneliness not having somebody close to me. My wife of 20 years died of Leukaemia 6 years ago, she used to have her blood transfusions where I have my chemo which was hard to start with. I try to go out as much as poss but most days I don't really want to, my ex is supportive of me but she has her own life and boyfriend so don't like asking much of her. She was with me all through and months after, I ended it when I found out the cancer had come back as she has had a lot of deaths lately of close friends and family, I felt it was unfair to burden my illness on her anymore, she nearly had a breakdown while I was in there. Not really sure where to go next.
