Age 58. Recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. PSA 6.1, MRI identified cancer on left side of prostate. Biopsy gave a Gleason score of 4+3.
Waiting for bone scan results ...Have consultants phone discussion on Thursday 13 May.
I will need to decide on surgery or radiation therapy ... Presuming of course that nothing has spread.
I was a teacher for 20 years. We relocated for a life style change. Have worked with the homeless and ex offenders for 10 years plus.
I have always kept myself reasonably fit walking and running and gym. A hip problem has made this more difficult recently.
I work full-time and am a carer for my wife when home.
Still enjoy walking the dog and a good ale. Hoping to combine the two now lockdown over etc at my local.
