Hi,
My name is Peter and 61 yrs old and I have had a X-Ray, 2x CT scan, PET scan, ECG, Heart scan and a Lung Fuction Test, I am now waiting to see the Surgeon to have a chat about the surgery I am having and to give me the date of my opperation which will be in the next two weeks.
I will give updates of how things progress as and when I can., I am willing to answer any questions others may have about the surgery & recovery plus how I am managing from day to day.
I do have a lovely wife who is there for me plus my three Children and older Grandchildren.
one bit of info I can give is to talk about it and explain how you are feeling as family can be scared to bring the subject in case it upsets you. Let them know it is good to talk and keep your self busy.
