In November 2009 I was diagnosed with stage 2b cervical cancer. I had 5 weeks of radiotherapy (including 5 chemo - cisplatin), an extra weeks radiotherapy on a lymph node followed by 4 treatments of brachytherapy. All sounded very daunting but my wonderful Macmillan nurse told me to take it one step at a time and it worked!
