About PaulD

Hi, I am 67 years old and was diagnosed with advanced Prostate Cancer approx 7 years ago.I took part in a trial of a new drug followed by Radiotherapy and my PSA came down from 63 and is now undetectable. Unfortunately ,27 months ago I discovered a lump in my neck which turned out to be secondary Cancer, the primary being at the base of my tongue. There followed Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy and there is no sign of the Cancer now. My problem is after losing over 5 stone in weight I cannot swallow food. It sticks in my throat and causes me to wretch and be sick.I am surviving completely on High Fibre Fortisip drinks but would dearly love to be able to eat again. I would welcome any suggestions or comments from anyone in a similar position to me, many thanks.
