About Oneloopylady

I am just undergoing tests for bowel cancer though GP seems to think its highly likely. My ferritin levels are at 5, and I have had chronic Diarrhea for 6 weeks. I don't feel unwell, though a little more tired than usual. I am in a wheelchair most of the time due to Fibromylagia, CFS, and have diabetes and angina too. It's pretty scary! Has anyone else had this ferritin thing? She also said I am not anaemic?! I though low iron levels meant anaemia.... She said she wanted me to have the colonoscopy urgently but apparently I have to see the consultant first because I'm immobile etc and I don't understand why that makes a difference? Thank you!
