About Mymingees

Hi all. What a great site this is. Have just been informed that I have 2 meningiomas or as I like to call them, myningees. Doc told me not to worry and my case will be discussed but the MDT and then he'll let me know what they say. But wherever I read about it - there's mention of brain tumours, cancer, surgery consultants etc etc but as he told me to "not worry" I left the surgery thinking it wasn't that serious but now I'm not so sure............ I'm wondering will I see a consultant, or a specialist at the hospital. And do I tell people "I have a brain tumour" or "I have cancer" if I was to discuss it? I was feeling quite reassured after the docs appointment but can't help thinking he was trying to not worry me! Any advice would be very much appreciated :-)
