About MrsDaffodil

I had a total hysterectomy in 2018 for enlarged fibroids.

Only on the operating table was it discovered I had severe endometriosis. This led to one fibroid and one fallopian tube having to be left in. My ovaries were always intended to stay but the surgeon said the endometriosis was so bad they weren't coming out anyway.

Uterus was sent for testing, results showed non cancerous.

8 years on, aged 52, I have a large pelvic mass that is currently being investigated, described as a multiloculated cyst by the consultant and I am facing surgery all over again no matter the outcome of an MRI I am due to have 14/10/26.
