About Mooshie

My husband was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer 12 months ago. He completed chemotherapy without problems. He then started radiotherapy and it scarred his lungs and caused fibrosis. His health started to decline and he suffered severe problems with the side effects of all the treatments. He was in hospital for 23 days with pneumonia and agonized with the shortness of breathing. He finally passed away on February 28th. I am now sorry that we went through all this and did not just accept the fact that we would be fighting an unsurmountable battle with a terminal condition. We should have just taken the time and enjoyed the little time we had.
